NEW rules of practice for reviewing certain decisions
The Service Manager Internal Review Committee for all housing providers EXCEPT Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation (CHC) and for CHRWEC applicants requesting a review of an application decision.
Households are encouraged to request a reconsideration of the original decision by the organization that made the decision before requesting a review. If the matter is resolved between the household and the organization, no further steps are required. http://www.citywindsor.ca/residents/housing/Social-Housing/Pages/Review-Committee.aspx
CHR determines eligibility for rent-geared-to-income (RGI) housing.
Your application will not be considered for eligibility if the application form is incomplete or if documents are missing.
CHR does not make offers of accommodation or provide emergency housing but can provide information about transitional housing or shelters in the area.
